Study Abroad Programs and Scholarships
Study Abroad Programs
If you decide to major and minor in French or Spanish, we strongly encourage you to participate in a study abroad experience. Immersion in another country is the best way to attain cultural and linguistic proficiency for the target language and related region. It also makes you stand out for job, scholarship or graduate school applications! Check below for study abroad scholarships available!
Here are our “in house” department abroad programs:
- Semester-long programs: Lyon (France), Barranquilla (Colombia) and Málaga (Spain)
- Short-term programs: individual summer program in Málaga (Spain); winter faculty-led seminar in the Caribbean Island of Martinique (France) and in Puerto Rico (upcoming)
You may also explore additional opportunities by visiting the Center for International Education.
