'Cross Currents' Exhibit Showcases Contemporary Delmarva Artists Through August 17
SALISBURY, MD---Artists living and working on the Delmarva Peninsula share their work during the exhibit “Cross Currents: Contemporary Art on the Eastern Shore” through Friday, August 17, at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Art Galleries Downtown.
The exhibition presents an array of practices and perspectives that reflect on what it means to be alive and making work right now. It includes two-dimensional representational and abstract painting and collage, as well as photography, silkscreen, ceramics, sculpture and installation.
Artists include Leslie Belloso, Mehves Lelic, Erick Sahler and David Smith of Salisbury; Alison Cooley of Easton, MD; Christopher Harrington of Princess Anne, MD; Patrick Henry and Deborah Rolig of Berlin, MD; Bruce Ricci of Onancock, VA; Barbara Warden of Lewes, DE; and Julie Wills of Chestertown, MD.
Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Sponsored by SU Art Galleries, admission is free and the public is invited.
